i am wondering if there is a way to make it so that when you have frames, you can choose which frame the address shows;ect...

ex. on my site, it has a menu bar. i want that menu bar to be "in the background", so the browser shows the main page's url, not the menu.

that site is http://home.attbi.com/~nathanchoe

thanks

By default the page will display the address of the frameset.

"Address masking" does exist - some ISP's offer it - but it doesn't seem to be in the code of the page.

No, no way to do that in JavaScript to my knowledge.

If you have an Apache server, you can probably do it with mod_rewrite, but I'm not going to try to explain that here, mostly because I don't understand it myself. Smile
