I am creating an app. that will be a locally run html file. (this gets me around the problem with sever files reading local files). I would like the file to generate a directory listing, dump it in a file then upload that file to my webserver.

Any suggestions would be great. I am pretty good with PHP and other server side scripting, but I am helpless with java and javascript. If there is an eaiser way to do this, by all means let me know.

Thanks,
C

JavaScript can't read directory listings, or upload files to Web servers. What exactly are you trying to do here?
